Designed with 98 holes each with evenly spaced, precisely cut diameters and combined with a 200µm integrated membrane for consistent espresso shot extractions from Rancilio espresso machine group heads.

    Nanotech coating will wear away with use over time but increases the lifespan of your shower screen by reducing corrosion as long as it remains.

This is a pretty specialized item, however if you are serious about your espresso it does make a difference and it is a good upgrade. The OEM screen I had before worked ok, but this one is clearly better. If you are the type of person who is weighing your beans before grinding, this is likely a product you will appreciate. Make sure you are using a quality basket with this product also.

Easy and worthwhile upgrade for all Silvia owners

After switching to a bottomless porta filter I realized I had pretty bad channelling. One distribution tool later and it was better, but still not perfect. This showerscreen has made all the difference and I no longer get splatter. You can see the difference when you install it and run water through it. The stock shower screen seemed to push water through the same few places towards the center, even when clean. This distributes water evenly across the whole shower screen. I'm very impressed. I highly recommend this, $40 isn't a huge investment when talking about $1000 machines.
