  • The barista-recommended Encore now comes in white! This is a fantastic entry level grinder that stands alone in value and quality and is an essential item for every home coffee drinker. With the same tried and true performance, the Encore continues its reputation and legacy for reliability and consistency. Built with commercial-grade conical burrs that allow you to explore an extensive range of brew methods and recipes!

Manufactured in Europe, the Encore’s 40 mm conical burrs will grind for many styles of coffee. Conical burrs grinders are exceptional at producing consistent grinds from very fine to very coarse as well as being durable and will remain sharp for many years. Turn the hopper and with 40 settings you can quickly adjust from fine for espresso to coarse for French Press. The grind range is from 250 to 1200 microns. The Encore uses a combination of gear and electronic speed reduction to control the rotation of the burr to 550 RPM. This slow speed reduces heat, noise, and static generation in the grinder. It also ensures that the beans feed smoothly into the burrs.

Love it. Fantastic value.

I've been using this grinder for almost a year, and it's still going strong. I recently upgraded my home brew setup from a moka pot to a Breville Infuser, and while I'm sure the consistency of the grind isn't quite as good as some of the much more expensive grinders, it is definitely good enough for espresso. Overall, a great grinder with incredible value.

Great Value and Consistent Grinds

Been using this grinder for a few months now and its time for a review. After a few years of using the Porlex hand grinder (which I love and still use for travelling and camping), it gets tiresome every day to grind beans to brew two cups. Usually I'm really picky about purchasing small kitchen appliances because 1: It clutters the kitchen, 2: small appliances break and 3: will not purchase if it has more than 3 buttons and other useless digital features. I prefer simple, robust, low tech design. Essentially idiot proof. The Encore looks and feels solid. It's loud but not a deal breaker. This company offers replacement parts because I hate throwing away a whole entire unit when it breaks. I primarily brew pour over with a Hario V60 with 30-35 grams of light and medium roast beans for a 2 cup brew. The sweet spot is on 20. Overall this grinder is a great value and simply gets the job done for a quality brew.

Consistent, Clean, Easy

I've had this for about a month, working very nicely. Consistent grind, easy to use and clean. Great service from the 8oz team as well.

Excellent

We really enjoy this coffee grinder. It's a bit loud, and doesn't have a timer so you kind of need to be in the same room while it's grinding beans. However, for the price, it's excellent. Good quality, lots of adjustment for grind size, consistent grind, and it looks great in the kitchen.

Great grinder

This grinder is a huge upgrade from my old Black and Decker, it costs more, but if you want the best coffee it is well worth it. Consistent grind. Variable settings. Love it.
