Upgrade the quality of your brew grind. This 54mm Steel burr set is a replacement for the burrs that come standard on a Forté-BG, and are compatible with Forté-AP, Vario and Vario-W to improve the grind quality at coarser grind settings. These burrs give a very consistent coarse grind that is excellent for manual brew and brewing in your automatic coffeemaker.
Upped the espresso grinder, the Vario has now has brew duty! The steel burrs are remarkably different than the ceramic, a very aggressive cut. Super easy install too.
First impressions seem like less fines, but will see if it makes a difference with the cold brew filtering.
Only thing I was a little disappointed in was the shipping packaging. The burrs were loose in a plastic bag together. No marks I could see, but I think wrapping them separately with some packing paper could be a good Idea.
