specialty coffee is a term containing lots of meaning in itself. For me it is something unique and rare also, I consider it as a luxury item that elevates your daily life and experience.
Along those lines I spent more than a year launching the very first merchandise on my brand. I have a specific vision of cups for coffee drinking which does not exist in the commercial market. I'd been looking for many ceramic makers asking the shape and colouring is possible to make over an year of time. Finally I met Dustin (@dustinryanyu) and processed the production.
The first thing I care about is the shape of a mug. Heavy bottom, thick layer, narrow rim. Handless cups naturally require low heat exposure in every single direction as all surfaces are possible to "handle". So, it has to be thick enough to retain heat inside of the cup. Otherwise it became too hot to hold.
The bottom thickness of SEZITA mug is close to 10 mm that keep your fingers safe to hold a cup anytime.
All of my coffees are exotic in taste and aroma. Narrow rim guides all aroma components to easily access your orthonasal which enhance the outer aroma experience.
Full capacity is 6 oz, +- 1oz caused from hand-made ceramic. Recommended use capacity is 3oz to fully enhance the drinking experience.
