Getachew is a very experienced producer who is known for his skill in managing high-quality, efficient production levels. Around 600 smallholder farmers deliver ripe cherries to this washing station every year, many of which are from small family plots that include recently planted trees of improved varietals as well as traditional heirloom varieties. The rich soil around this area combined with the immaculate processing method contributes to a refined final cup that is refreshing, sweet and balanced.

This is a classic Ethiopian coffee with fruit notes and a bright floral aroma. Perfect for brewing using Hario and Chemex. Light and silky body give a pleasant aftertaste.

Very nice Ethiopian roast

As usual, a great roast from Ethica. Floral notes that dominate followed by some hints of fruit and chocolate. Nicely balanced acidity, perfect for my morning brew. I was grinding a bit coarser for V60 as draw down times were a tad longer than usual. Probably due to more fines being produced.
