KEEN Coffee

KEEN Coffee is based in Utrecht, Netherlands where former baristas Bonne (roasts delicious coffee!) and Rob (creative guru!) strive to elevate the already amazing coffee scene. KEEN believes in selecting seasonal coffees that are ethically sourced and processed, roasting fresh to order. El Aguacate (Guatemala) - Best Brewed as Filter

Jesus Leiva Cardona's farm El Aguacate is named after an enormous, old avocado tree that grows there (aguacate means avocado). This avocado tree and its younger siblings shade the coffee plants, and bring in a bit of extra income for the family.

Guatemalan coffee is typically clean, with a medium/light body. El Aguacate is super clean with a surprisingly thick body, almost as thick as a honey processed coffee. Also the flavour characteristics of this washed coffee are more in line of a honey processed coffee.

According to KEEN, you can expect a cup full of raspberries, hazelnut and dark chocolate.
