This coffee comes from 400 smallholder farmers known as Lima Coffees in Jaen, Cajamarca, Peru. Cajamarca is the biggest of ten different coffee producing regions in Peru, and Lima Coffees are at the forefront of microlot quality coffees in the area. This particular lot is comprised of six different varieties, grown between 1650 - 1800 MASL.
Lima coffees president, Rony Lavan, has spent his career trying to carve out a place for quality coffees from small producers in Peru. He is dedicated to bringing awareness of the potential for delicious small lot, specialty coffee in an area that has historically been known for its quantity of production, not necessarily its quality. We think that this coffee is super delicious and approachable, and we are excited to bring it to you!
