PROCESS: WASHED, SWISS WATER DECAFFEINATION

This coffee is grown at Finca La Alambrada in the El Progreso region of the Department of Guatemala. This coffee is a blend of four different varieties. Two of which, Catimor and Sarchimor, are hybrid varieties with Robusta lineage making them resistant to disease. This is an important consideration for producers who are looking for long term solutions for sustainable farming, and we are seeing more and more of these types of varieties in recent years. This coffee has been processed through Swiss Water decaf which maintains all of the origin flavour and quality, providing a delicious decaffeinated alternative for coffee drinkers. This particular coffee is roasted to taste great brewed as espresso or filter coffee with sweet brown sugar and chocolate notes.
