About the coffee
This lot from Chimaltenango, Guatemala comes from the farm aptly named La Colina, or “The Hill” after the rolling landscape on which it is planted. Tony Medina, who inherited his plot on the farm from his father always dreamed of growing coffee. While initially only. planting basic sustenance crops like corn and beans he began working on various coffee farms at a young age to learn the trade.
He planted his first coffee tree in 1991 and 25 years later, it is clear that his hard work and dedication have paid off and that his dream has been fully realized.
