We are so excited to introduce Danche Chelbesa Organic to our lineup. This is a brand new washing station in the Chelbesa Region of Gedeo. Established in 2019. This region falls within the broader Yirgacheffe zone. Which has help made their coffee so famous. The Danche Mill is owned by Negusse Weldyes who has been in coffee since 2008. His goal is to pay top prices to continue to bring in top quality. In the Future he also has a goal of building a health clinic to help the local community access proper health care.
This coffee consists of Welsh and Kurume Varietals. It’s a washed coffee from surprisingly high altitudes, 2000-2300 m.a.s.l. This coffee was fermented by water for 72 hours! Dried for 10 days on raised beds.
