DON'T PLUNGE WITH A WORN OUT RUBBER ;-)
Congratulations on being a total AeroPress ninja, and wearing out the rubber gasket that comes with it! If your AeroPress starts feeling a bit loose and wobbly when you push it down, you might need a new seal.
This replacement silicone rubber seal gasket is compatible with both the AeroPress Original and the AeroPress Go coffee makers.
-
- Styrene-ethylene-butadiene-styrene, a medical-grade thermoplastic elastomer that is FDA and EU approved for use in contact with food
- BPA and Phthalate free
- Compatible with both the AeroPress coffee maker and the AeroPress Go travel coffee press
-
Use to replace the seal on the end of your existing plunger.
The seal does wear down over time. To maximize seal life, always eject the used coffee right after brewing and store your AeroPress coffee maker with the seal pushed all the way through the chamber. This keeps the seal free of compression for longer seal life. There is no adhesive on the seal, so you can easily remove it and then replace it on the AeroPress plunger.
We recommend occasionally removing the seal from the end of the plunger for a good washing inside and out with warm water and dish soap.

Save some money and replace the seal on your old Aeropress. Well worth the price!
I've been using my Aeropress for a long time, and noticed that the seal on the plunger wasn't what it used to be. I was about to shell out and buy a whole new aeropress, when I saw this! It fit great and now my aeropress is as good as new. Glad I found this, as it's only a quarter of the cost of a new aeropress.
My Aeropress stopped sealing and I thought I would have to buy a whole new one. Great to be able to buy replacement parts!
My aeropress seal was sitting unused for a while and started to get sticky.. ordered this replacement and it was back in action! Even better as the new seal fit even tighter than the old, worn one.
Easy bit to replace on the Aeropress, helped fix mine thats been an absolute workhorse for years.
