Shipping: We mostly use UPS, and Canada Post when needed. We aim to ship same or next business day, depending on the time of day you place your order, but may have a delay of up to 5 business days depending on current order volumes.
Whenever possible, we prioritize orders with express shipping. That being said, we print our last batch of orders at 12pm MST, so if you're placing an order with express shipping between 12-3pm, please give us a call at 403-457-9844, and we'll do our best to make sure it ships out the same day.

International Orders: Please be aware that any orders shipping to the U.S.A. over $800 USD value will result in customs fees from U.S. Customs and Border Protection. For all other countries, please be aware that your order may incur import charges when entering your country, depending on your government's policies. International Orders are shipped at the risk of the buyer - Eight Ounce Coffee will not be responsible for lost/damaged items.
Distribution Agreements: Due to our distributor agreements, we are unable to ship the following brands outside of Canada: Earth's Own, Flair, HARIO, KeepCup, KINTO, OATLY, Subminimal and Wacaco.
Orders placed to a shipping address outside of Canada that include products from any of these brands will be cancelled and refunded.
Pre-Orders: We don't want you to have to wait for all the fun gear that you've ordered just because one of the items is a pre-order, so please purchase pre-orders separately or your entire order will be held until the pre-order product arrives at our warehouse.
All pre-order arrival dates, sometimes called "ETA", are only an estimate. We strive to keep the ETA updated with the latest available information but we cannot guarantee that the arrival information is 100% correct as production and shipping delays occur regularly.
As soon as a pre-order product arrives, your order will be put into our shipping queue to be sent out within our standard shipping timeframe, which is typically same or next business day (see shipping section above).
Return Policy: Unused, unopened items can be returned up to 30 days after you receive your order. Cost of the items, minus shipping, will be refunded.
Used items in original packaging with all parts and accessories functioning and intact can be returned up to 30 days after you receive your order. Items must be clean and free of any user damage or defect. Cost of the items, minus shipping and a 20% restocking fee, will be refunded.
Any faulty item can be returned within the manufacturer's warranty period. Just give us a call or send us an email and as soon as we verify the defect, we can issue a return label.
If you decide you'd like to return an item you have purchased from us, please contact us first at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know. We will then give you instructions on what to do next. We ask that you package your return items well so that they are not damaged during the journey.
Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it to verify the damage (or verify that it has not be used), and will refund the amount to your account.
Please note that all Masks, Gift Cards, Yard Sale and food items (such as coffee, tea and oat milk) are FINAL SALE.
Warranty Policy: If a product your customer has purchased stops working due to a manufacturer defect, please have them reach out to us directly by sending an email to email@example.com as soon as possible, and we will work with them to determine their warranty coverage.
Warranties do not apply to any glass or ceramic items or part, or defect arising from a buyer or user’s misuse of the product, negligence, lack of descaling, or failure to follow product instructions.
Placing orders on terms: Executing an order on this website constitutes a contractural obligation of acceptance of the order and obligation to pay. For orders which are not paid for at the time of placing the order, we reserve the right to pursue payment for unpaid invoices by any means necessary, including third party debt collection agencies.
Shipping Discrepancies: We have a three-step process to ensure accuracy of all orders that ship from our warehouse. If you are unfortunate enough to discover a mistake in your order, please inform us within 7 days of receiving your order, so we can rectify it for you. Our ability to assist you can alter significantly the longer you delay reaching out.
Mailing List: If you sign up for our mailing list, we promise to only send you relevant info, no more than a few times a month. It's easy to unsubscribe, too. We would never, ever sell your email address on to another company.
Minimum Order: All online, showroom, and/or telephone orders are required to meet or exceed the minimum subtotal price value, prior to the addition of taxes and shipping, of two hundred fifty Canadian dollars ($250).
Order Limits/Maximums: For some of our higher demand products, and due to manufacturer availability, we may need to set order limits or partially refund a completed order to ensure that everyone has a fair chance to stock their shelves. Order limits are per wholesale account. Multiple orders placed back to back reaching limits will be cancelled. If you reach maximums on a product, you can place a reorder 3 weeks after the initial order for the same maximums again, if there is still available stock.
Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) and Resale Policy: Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) helps to ensure integrity, consistency and fair competition within the marketplace. As a company, Eight Ounce was founded on the principle of providing high quality products and exceptional customer service. As part of these core values, we never resell products solely on the basis of price, and not product or service quality and we expect the same of our wholesale partners.
MAP pricing applies to all advertised prices only, which includes any and all media such as, but not limited to; flyers, coupons, posters, newsletters, websites or social media sites. Individual resellers have the right to determine and set actual resale pricing for any product.

Wholesale partners may not resell products on any marketplace websites such as, but not limited to; Amazon, eBay or any other discount marketplace websites.
Any non-adherence to MAP or resale policies will result in wholesale account access being revoked, and any future purchases can be made via the Eight Ounce retail website here.
Discount Policy: Automatic Volume Discounts are applied to all orders that meet applicable order values (some restrictions apply). We are unable to extend any additional volume discounts outside of our standard automatic volume discounting, or to non-qualifying orders or products.
From time to time, Eight Ounce may offer other discounts or promotions, such as, but not limited to: Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Boxing Day or Free Shipping Days, outside of our standard volume discounting.
Discounts and promotions are only applicable to in-stock products. We do not offer rain-checks or backordering. Discount codes and promotions are applied per-order, and cannot be combined with or applied to past or future orders.
Price Matching: We work hard to maintain competitive prices on everything we carry in line with MAP pricing determined by our distributor agreements, to allow our wholesale customers to receive the best margins possible when it comes to resales. For this reason we do not offer price matching. If you see an advertised price lower than our listed wholesale or retail pricing, let us know and we can look into this further.
Should our own standard pricing be reduced within 30 days of purchase, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, along with a copy of your receipt or order number, and we will match the price and refund you the difference. This excludes any special sale prices or promotions such as Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Boxing Day, or any other special sales promotions we have throughout the year.
