This is the most I ever spent on a non-electric kettle...

And I don't regret one bit! Not only it's beautiful to look at, but I am impressed how smoothly it can pour compare to my Fellow gooseneck kettle! Fellow kettle can pour maximum to a very slow speed and at a steady flow rate, however it can't pour beyond that rate. This kettle don't have that kind of issue, besides that you can also use it on an induction stovetop to make it heat up super fast and ready to go right after I grind my beans. It is at a higher price point for sure, but it's craftsmanship and usefulness has quickly became my daily driver for my pourovers!

Great little kettle

I love how it can be slowly poured over the coffee grounds, but I wish I had a slightly smaller burner on my stove for it.

Great kettle

Smooth pour. Looks beautiful. I use it on an induction stovetop. The wood on the handle and lid is actually a dark brown, which I prefer to it being black (as it appears in the photo). Good customer service from Eight Ounce in helping to pick/order this one.

Generally good quality. however, If you need a delicate pouring you should go tsubame version.
