    Fortunately, the Eight Ounce Essentials Flat Palm Espresso Tamper takes all the guesswork out of this essential step with zero complicated components. So, you won't have to be a trained barista to achieve perfect espresso every time!

    The Eight Ounce Essentials Flat Palm Tamper does most of the work for you, achieving consistent results for better-tasting espresso. Simply adjust the tamper's depth until the base rests on the rim of the portafilter basket, place your portafilter on a flat surface, and press down evenly and firmly!

    Thanks to its sleek design and durable build, the Eight Ounce Essentials Flat Palm Tamper simply feels like a professional espresso tamper… but you won't have to be a professional to use it!

    1. Adjust the tamper depth.
    2. Place your portafilter on a flat, sturdy surface.
    3. With your elbow at a 90-degree angle, press firmly down on the portafilter.
    4. Check for an even tamp: the espresso bed should be perfectly flat and level, with no slopes or broken pieces.
    5. Wipe away any espresso grounds from the rim of your portafilter.
    6. Brew delicious, evenly extracted espresso!
