NORI bowl is dishwasher safe and pretty much perfect for a salad, ramen, or as an elegant serving bowl.

Do not overheat in the microwave or heat without water. Wash with care. Do not use abrasive cleansers or steel wool. Product size and shape varies in each item due to manufacturing process. Appearance of colour glaze unevenness varies in each item. Some products may take on scorched-like texture on the surface. It is an unique glaze effect called "yo-hen", unintended colour transformation show on the ceramic and porcelain after firing.

After use of metal utensils, gray marks may become noticeable on the surface of tableware. These are called metal marks, and they are caused by the friction between porcelain and metal. To remove them, we recommend using a soft cleanser such as Bar Keeper's Friend and gently rubbing with a wet cloth or sponge.

This is our daily driver!

It's funny to write a review for a bowl, but after owning it for two years it's something I prefer to use over standard corelle bowl! First of all, it got great heat retention without too hot to the touch, thanks to it's thickness and material that it's made from. Second, it's something not perfect looking so it gives it character and warmness to it. Third, it's a great size that you can do one pot meal in! It's perfect for my need that I can have all my vegetable and meat and rice in it and have comfortable space to maneuver over. I grown to like it over the years and hopefully I can buy some more in the future :)

Well made and heavy

Size and quality are good but heavy. Oddly the colour are slightly different than the smaller ver.

High quality japanese bowl

I really like these bowls overall, I use one twice a day for my cereals, it is of the PERFECT size for that purpose. However be ready for the increased noise from rubbing your spoon on it. It's either gonna be "Ok" or a "Dealbreaker" for you as the texture is totally different from ceramic. I really don't know too where's the "Porcelain" on that bowl as it's even heavier than plain cheap ceramic bowls I have but anyway, this looks gorgeous, feels like quality, isn't made in china, and it looks like it's not something that's gonna be full of scratch over time like white ceramic.
