  The C40 Lab Series HAMMERHEAD® Hand Grinder was developed by Comandante's founder, Bernd Braune, after tasting a cup of coffee made from perfectly ground Yellow Pacamara beans.

  This hand coffee grinder is part of Comandante's Lab Series: a collection of robust and highly durable manual grinders. Each one is designed with a special burr set (TIGERSHARK®, NITRO BLADE®, and HAMMERHEAD®) so you can experiment, explore, and discover the flavours that best suit you.

  About HAMMERHEAD® Burrs
  After realizing that coffee's flavour improves exponentially when ground just right, Bernd and the engineers at the Bavarian Burr Lab designed an innovative burr set with “Hexagonal Block Blade” geometry, made to gracefully handle larger, denser beans (including the Yellow Pacamara) and more petite coffee varieties.
