Minimum order $250 for wholesale pricing

Volume Discounts

For wholesale customers who wish to increase their margin and reduce their costs, we offer a volume discount of 10% on orders over $1000 in value (before shipping and taxes)

This discount applies to your entire order (excluding shipping and taxes), with some exceptions. The following exceptions are in place because of tight margins, reducing our ability to offer larger discounts.

We strive to keep our prices as low as possible, and on a few of products it is impossible to offer further discounts on the wholesale price. Rather than increasing the wholesale price for our smaller customers, we prefer to keep pricing accessible to everyone. In essence, the wholesale price is equivalent to a 10% discount, but is available to everyone. We have reduced the prices on some wholesale products to reflect this.

Exceptions to volume discounts:

Electric Grinders

    • Natural unbleached paper

    • Made in the USA
    • Fold the paper in half to form a 90 degree angle
    • Fold up the tab and then fold the filter in on itself to form a cone
    • Place your finger between the 3rd and 4th layer of the filter and open it up into a funnel
    • Place the funnel in the top portion of the CHEMEX® coffeemaker, with 3 layers on the side with the spout
    • The spout acts as an air vent that allows air to escape the lower section of the brewer to let the coffee draw down at the proper rate

    • Empty the water
    • Put coffee into the filter and then brew coffee
    • You can use our method to brew, find one of the many other methods available on the Internet (Here's a good place to start), or use your own!

Fast but sturdy filters

I generally order the pre-folded unbleached squares, but I thought I would try these this time.

They are easy to fold, but I agree with the other reviews that the flow rate is much faster than the bleached filters - I found it faster than the squares.

With a finer grind and a more controlled pour, these still make delicious coffee, but I recommend the squares for a better experience.

Just have to be careful

These are good straight-forward filters, but you have to be careful when dialing in the grind and pour time compared to the bleached ones, as the bleaching process does affect the paper in more ways than colour. If you keep that in mind, there's no reason why you can't get the exact same results as your "normal" white filters. Only reason it's 4 instead of 5 stars from me is that I prefer not to use single-use disposable items.

Different flow properties

I purchased these after going through several boxes of the bleached filters. The first thing I noticed when folding them was how thin they were. After brewing my first batch of coffee I was surprised with how fast the coffee was filtered through these filters. Brew time was nearly cut in half and the coffee seemed much thinner. Perhaps I need a finer grind, which I will try next, but didn't expect such a different cup of coffee. I'll continue to play around with the grind and pour rate, but as of now I'll definitely be getting the bleached filters next time.

Hi Chris! We've tested this, and it did shave around 25 seconds off the brew time (4:00 vs 4:25) - we do suggest playing around with the grind and making it a bit finer until you find something you like!
