The 1000ml (34oz) KINTO KAKOMI IH Enamel Pot, has excellent heat conduction and makes it easier to cook perfect, delicious one-pot meals. It can be used for direct fire cooking on a gas stove, as well as on induction cooktops, halogen heaters, and ovens (DO NOT use in microwave ovens). Compact and easy-to-handle, the use of stainless steel as the base material makes it both durable and lightweight and its glass-like glaze makes it easy to keep clean and helps prevent the transfer of food odours and staining.

Sized to serve one to two people, its design enhances traditional dishes like hot pots and Western-style stews like pot-au-feu, and blends naturally with other tableware.

You can steam, simmer, and stew with KAKOMI. To steam, simply add water to the pot, insert the steam plate (sold separately), and turn on the heat. It lets you enclose the rich taste and nutrients of ingredients without using oil.

When using it for the first time, please gently wash it with neutral detergent. Do not use in the microwave. Remove the lid when using in an oven as rapid rise in temperature may cause breakage. Do not use the Lid in a dishwasher. The time it takes to boil may vary depending on the type of induction heater. Adjust heat to medium or lower when using on 200V induction heater. When using on a gas stove, ensure the pot is stable and not unbalanced. Please place the pot on the center of the burner. Do not use it on a kerosene heater. Do not heat without water. Do not pour cold liquids over it when it is heated without water. Do not put too much water. It might cause boiling over and injuries. Please use the capacity up to about 70% full as a guideline. Do not heat rapidly at high temperatures, and ensure thorough stirring while heating. The handle will be hot when heated. Use insulated oven mitts to hold. When opening the lid, be careful with the steam as it may cause scalds. If you place the product on a table while it is hot, it may leave marks, use a trivet. Hold the pot with both hands when carrying. Since enamel has a glass-like surface, please be careful not to drop, strike, or subject it to strong impacts, as these may cause cracking or chipping. Do not touch with a wet cloth or put in a wet place while it is hot as rapid cooling may cause breakage. Do not use it if the lid knob is loose, cracked, or deformed. Do not soak wooden parts in water to prevent cracks or deformation. Immediately wash and dry well after use, and keep dry when not in use. To prevent rust, do not leave residue containing salt or acid on the surface for a long time and do not store it in humid places. Wash with care. Do not use abrasive cleansers or steel wool. Do not use hard metal objects to remove burnt residue. If the pot becomes burnt, boil water in the pot, add 1 tablespoon of baking soda and simmer in low heat for 2-3 minutes, let it cool down and rub with a melamine sponge. Please be careful not to cut yourself on the edge when cleaning.
