This thing has excellent thermal conductivity, and the copper makes it both anti-bacterial and a beautiful addition to any kitchen. Full copper body that will develop a patina over time, with a brass handle, natural wood lid knob, and nickel plated interior, it's the kettle of your dreams.

Elegant & functional

Another expertly crafted kettle from Hario. It is aesthetically beautiful to look at and yet perfectly designed, making it a functional item to grace your cooktop.

Very good

After using the Stagg EKG for 2 years, I tried this. I do a lot of Chemex. The higher flow rate is very smooth and I have gotten better extraction because of it. I plan to use this on a woodstove someday and will probably have to drill out one of the holes for a temp probe. Well worth the $185

Beautiful kettle, I also have the slightly larger stainless steel kettle by Hario. I don't think the copper one will work if you have an induction range (I use gas and electric so no problem) but I like the spout on the copper kettle more, it seems to allow a bit more precision when pouring, perhaps because it is cut at a more acute angle.
