Designed to enjoy the craft and sensory pleasure of coffee on the go. KeepCup Brew Wood is a durable glass reusable coffee cup that's barista standard for the perfect pour. It's lightweight, easy to carry and with a press fit sipper lid it's lovely to drink from - lid on or off.
KeepCup Brew Wood has a timber by-product band that's even more insulative! Sourced from Portugal, the wood band is lightweight, impermeable and biodegradable and protects your hands from heat.
Baristas love KeepCups because they fit under the group heads of most espresso machines and are easy to pour latte art into. Coffee drinkers love KeepCups because they come in loads of fabulous colours, are spill-proof, and have a beautifully designed plug to open and close the lid.
Bilingual labels (En-Fr) and packaging PDFs are available for download on the 'Documentation' tab. I haven’t had any issues with this yet but I’ve only had it for a month. It is very cute! I enjoy bringing this to work to get coffee at my local shop.
I primarily use this to take tea to go on my drive to work in the mornings. As much as I love the idea of having a calm and relaxing tea break before work, it's not always possible but I still want the drink either way before work, so this cup is great for that. Obviously it's not meant to be insulating, but again, it's a really great cup for when you plan on immediately drinking from it, and if anything the fact that it's not insulated is great so I don't burn my mouth during my drive.
Two of the main reasons I wanted this instead of an insulated stainless steel cup: 1) It's easy to clean which is needed for something I take with me basically every day (just don't wash/soak the wood band) and 2) I find that stainless steel containers often change the taste of my drink, which is minimized here since the cup is glass. I will say you need to make sure you soak the lid and mouth piece in vinegar water if you have a soap that leaves a bit of a soapy flavour no matter how much you rinse it.
