    The ⌀152.4mm (⌀6in) Barista Basics Open Bottom Round Knock Box is built for baristas who demand durability, efficiency, and a quieter workflow. Made from ultra-strong, BPA-free ABS plastic and fitted with a removable NBR rubber knock bar, this knock box is designed to take a beating and bounce back. Its oversized hush gasket reduces noise and impact, while the open-bottom design makes it ideal for in-counter installation—keeping your bar clean and your workflow seamless.   • After pulling your shot we recommend removing the puck straight away. Hold the portafilter firmly and knock it against the rubber bar. The puck should fall out into the knock box. Wipe the basket clean and put it back into the machine or prepare another coffee.

    To wash the knock box just wash with mild detergent and rinse well. The plastic tube is dishwasher safe but will last longer if washed by hand.

    Please note, the knock box should fit snug within the sinkhole to ensure proper function and durability.

Works as expected. Our last one broke after two years. I guess it's an acceptable lifespan for a plastic knockbox.
