I have been using a yogurt cup with the bottom cut out.scary that it has lasted 21 years!
The new funnel is perfect!looks good and works well.
Really happy with the dosing funnel; nice magnet onto the portafilter and significantly reduces spills of espresso transferring from the grinder.

I got this funnel because I wanted a decent one that was brushed steel or stainless. Trying to match my machine and what not... I got it for my low profile Normcore 58mm portafilter. Just for those of us out there that are doing the same, this dosing funnel will fit, it does look nice and it is functional, however, it is loose on the portafilter and when you tap the portafilter on the tamping matt, the funnel wants to come off. Just weak magnets as others have noted.
Maybe a few more magnets would be better but it does the job pretty well
