• Use the Timemore Impulse Impact Calibrated Tamper to guarantee consistent, balanced espresso shots.

  1. Dose espresso grounds into your portafilter.
  2. Use a WDT (Weiss Distribution Technique) Tool to break up espresso clumps and evenly distribute the coffee bed.
  3. While ensuring your portafilter is on a balanced surface, lightly place the tamper overtop and use your palm to firmly press down until you hear a click. Note: You may want to use a mat to protect your countertops!
  4. Remove the portafilter to reveal a perfect espresso puck!
