The Wacaco Minipresso NS2 is the new generation of the well-known Minipresso NS. Smaller and lighter, it's even more portable while still offering amazing espresso quality through the use of Nespresso® Original capsules (and third-party compatibles). The advantage of brewing with a capsule is the coffee is already ground, measured, and tamped with higher precision in a condensed hermetically sealed package for perfect preservation of all the flavours of freshly ground coffee. There is very little left for error, so your espresso looks and tastes great cup after cup. The use of capsules is also more convenient, mess free and makes your espresso machine easier to clean after use. The Minipresso NS2 is definitely your best choice to quickly enjoy up to 60ml (2.03oz) of delicious espresso at home, in the office, and on the go.

Surprisingly small, the Minipresso NS2 is 5cm (1.9in) shorter than the previous generation. You will hardly notice it in your handbag, backpack, or even your back pocket. This state-of-the-art portable espresso brewer features Wacaco's latest patented pumping system, resulting from years of innovation, for maximum extraction efficiency. The fully integrated water tank simplifies the preparation steps, and the added drip tray keeps the mess out of the equation. With the Minipresso NS2, every aspect of espresso brewing is taken care of, making your coffee moment an unforgettable and fun experience!

I really love this

I love being able to take this with me and take specialty pods. I have been drinking the morning bread butter capsules and just throw this in my bag to take with me when i travel. Great coffee on the go and this thing never lets me down

An interesting machine with few caveats

Purchased this manual capsule machine in order to taste speciality capsules from Colonna. Build quality is very solid. Extraction quality is good: a Colonna limited rare lungo shot pulled with boiling hot water tasted very nice, without signs of under-extraction. The biggest challenge is to untwist the capsule cap/holder after brewing: since the cap is designed without any grooves to increase the grip/friction, it is very hard to unscrew if speciality capsules are used. The silicon gasket on the cap also fell off rather easily and may cause leaking during brew. It is also worth noting that brewing specialty decaf capsule would require more force/pumps to get the coffee flowing. Overall an very interesting machine to use while travelling but definitely requires more effort if you wanted to try speciality capsules with it.
