Take your AeroPress brewing up a notch with V2 of Aesir's premium AeroPress filters! The original Aesir filters were developed as Eldric Kuzma was preparing for the 2016 Canadian AeroPress Championship. The result of extensive testing of a range of types of paper to find one that makes the best possible cup of coffee, these new filters have a small pore size that makes for a full-bodied cup with less sediment, giving you a noticeably cleaner and more vibrant coffee.

Aesir Filters are a premium option for the AeroPress coffee brewer; using high quality paper, the result is a coffee that is cleaner, brighter, more full bodied with less sediment and bitterness. I finally finished my stack of aeropress filters

I finally finished my stack of aeropress filters and started brewing with my Aesir filters and have made about 30 or so coffees with them so far

they are noticeably thicker and stiffer, they feel almost like if you took two aeropress filters and stacked them in terms of stiffness and thickness.

I think they are also a miniscule amount wider in diameter which is noticeable when inserting them into the aeropress filter cap (I am using the flow control v2 cap). None of this has any negative impact on anything.

Given the thickness and smaller pore size, there is a slight increase in resistance when pressing the water through but if you take your time and don't force it, you get a really nice clean cup of coffee with less of the sediment that can influence bitterness.

I am brewing light roast natural process beans where I am chasing bright, fruity and sweet flavour profiles. I do believe that these filters help to achieve that when used effectively.

Thicker than aeropress og filter

Thick and doesn't affect the flow rate much, got a clean and more balanced cup out of this filter!

I was skeptical whether these filters would make any sort of noticeable different in my Aeropress brew. My skepticism was unfounded because these are really great filters. Truly cleans up the brew in a noticeable way. Brighter, more clarity and definition in the tasting notes. Very worth it!!!!
