A handy update for a great design

I bought the entire second-generation burr set (upper/lower parts, inner holder, adjusting nut) for my original Porlex Tall. The new nut makes grind adjustments a bit easier and, yes, it does allow the upper section of the grinder to stand on its own while you empty the ground coffee from the lower section into your favourite coffee-producing device!

Very Good

I just bought the replace parts for my older Porlex Tall and it went together easily and works perfectly. Very pleased with it and expect just as many years with it grinding away as the original. I admit to having purchased an amazon special during the plague to keep at work, and it worked (mostly, not great) but not for as long as my Porlex and, worse, when the burrs became too worn, the whole thing was garbage. Never again.
