  The latest Eight Ounce x artist collab series invites you into the mysterious world of Detective Bloom. Known for always having a cup of coffee in his hand (and a pot on standby) he'll stop at nothing to solve the case.

  The "Coffee Detective" series was created and illustrated by Calgary-based Artist Rachel Erickson, featuring your favourite coffee gear in a moody, film-noir universe where Detective Bloom can always be found hard at work… and fully caffeinated.

  Rachel's design is now available as a limited-edition Fellow Carter Move Mug, so you can add something truly unique to your collection.

  The Carter Move Travel Mug is cup holder-friendly and equipped with a snap-in splash guard to save your coffee from bumps or sudden stops. Keep your clothes, and the inside of your car, stain-free.

  Drinkable Thin Lip & True Taste Ceramic Coating
  A tapered thin lip makes sipping your coffee easy even while on the move.
  Plus, the Carter's ceramic interior keeps every brew free of odours, oils, and "old penny" tasting notes.

  Leak-Proof Seal & Heat Lock Double Wall Vacuum
  The Carter Travel Mug's double-walled vacuum locks in heat for up to 12 hours (or keeps beverages cold for 24 hours). With a lid that twists 270° and leak-proof seal, liquids are kept inside of the tumbler and away from your belongings. You can even toss the Carter inside a backpack or travel bag!

  About the Design

  Rachel's idea for the "Coffee Detective" series was to create a character who playfully embodies the kind of obsession coffee can spark in people.

  "A spy is a classic archetype of intrigue, mystery, and over-the-top seriousness. This lead me to wonder: what happens when you drop that character into the world of specialty coffee? I like to imagine he tumbles straight down the rabbit hole and becomes instantly obsessed."

  • Dimensions: ⌀77mm (body), ⌀62mm (mouth), 190mm tall (w/ lid), 167mm tall (w/o lid)
  • Designed to be compatible with all standard cup holders
  • Hand wash only
  • Tumbler is not microwave or oven safe
  • For hand-washing, only use liquid dish soap. Do not use chlorine, bleach, or other chemicals to clean. Let air dry or towel dry thoroughly.
  • Only use a soft sponge. Using a coarse sponge, brush, or other rough surface will scratch the outer and interior surfaces of the tumbler
  • Tumbler may dent if dropped
  • Do not use any metal stirring utensils in the tumbler. This will scratch the ceramic non-stick coating.
