The Pietro ProBrew Manual Coffee Grinder is a hand grinder with vertical flat burrs, zero retention, and an innovative ergonomic design. It is built with premium and robust materials and the hopper lid and grounds catch have airtight seals to help maintain flavour. Its 58mm flat burrs are designed and made in Italy by Fiorenzato, using M340 steel and designed to obtain the best result in filter extractions.

The vertical burr design on this grinder is a total standout, delivering the kind of grind uniformity that makes every cup taste noticeably cleaner. While the ergonomics feel a bit awkward at first, you quickly adapt to the motion. It’s nowhere near as difficult or cumbersome as most reviewers make it out to be.
I've been wanting to buy this grinder for over a year and no stock is available in Australia.
I randomly came across Eight Ounce Coffee and was surprised that they not only had the Pietro Pro Brew, but also had it in the colour I wanted (Pastel Blue).
Needless to say I purchased it immediately and was pleasantly surprised at the expedited shipping. To top things off, the accessories pack was included, free of charge!
The grinding experience isn't great, but it doesn't bother me in the slightest. After 2KG of seasoning, this grinder is producing the finest filter coffees I have made to date, it's that good.
I hesitated for a long time before purchasing this, I just couldn't justify the price when I could get an electric grinder for the same price. There is also a lot of complaints behind the user experience of the grinder which further pushed back any desire to purchase it. I finally decided to pull the trigger and get this after a year, and im glad I got it. The user experience so far is not great, but its not as bad as people say. It does take more work to grind, and isn't as smooth to use as other hand grinder. But its worth all of these downsides with what you get in the cup, it makes all that work have a grand payoff.
