APRIL Paper Filters

I’ve had many nice cups pairing these filters with the April brewer. I find them slightly better than the Kalita filters in the April brewer but that may just be due to having more experience with the April filters.

I picked up a box of these along side an April dripper. They fit very nicely into the dripper, and I haven't noticed any impact on brew flavours when using them together. These seem to flow a bit slower than previous flat filters I've used, but hasn't had a negative impact on my resulting cups.

may sound funny but i love structure of these filters, they are more "solid" and less flimsy than your typical 155 but still maintain a fast flow rate.

they sit much better in the xbloom dripper, with or without negociator and don’t sag or flop inwards. same in origami, they always align flat and don’t sag to one side or the other when pre-wetting!

worth the extra money in my opinion, depending on how many you use … but they are indeed pricey of their your only daily driver.

Absolutely love these filters!!! They make my brews last around 2.30 mins. The April brewer is intended for Nordic roasts, so these filters help to slow down the flow rate of coffees that aren't as light roasted as April or Sey. Yes, they are more expensive, probably related to shipping costs, and April's strict attention to detail. If you want to brew with the April Dripper these really are a necessity. Highly recommended.
