Big enough to steam milk for two large cappuccinos . Built like the bumper on my old 1960 Dodge.
This is the perfect size and really quality made for a "basic" pitcher. I'm happy I went with the 32oz as attempting with a smaller one made it harder to steam milk because the force of the steam would push the milk over the top.
