I backflush my espresso machines with this cleaning solution about once every 200 shots pulled, in addition to doing a water backflush 3-4 times per month. I also use this to clean pour-over coffee gear, coffee mugs & flasks, and tea gear including kettles and cups.

Cheap and Works well for Espresso and Pourover Filter.

I have been using this on my gaggia classic pro to backflush once a week and its been working great, foams up really nice and works well to clean any coffee oil and gunk. I also used it to clean my cloth filter every once in a while and it completely cleans it after sitting in warm water with the powder for 10 or so minutes. Definitely recommend this for anyone looking for espresso cleaning powder!

Don't buy anything else

My Breville machine came with this brand of cleaning powder in the box, so I decided to stick with it. Cleans very well and doesn't leave any residue or smell if you follow instructions. I like that the 500g jar already comes with the measuring spoon. One spoonful (5g) and a blind basket (or a rubber disc) are all you need for thorough cleaning. Can be used with any espresso machine without any risk of damage.
