CoffeeSock Basket Filter

I use this with my Etkin 8 cup. Great combo

I use this daily with my 12 cup black and decker generic drip coffee maker with a flat-bottom filter basket. This design works perfectly for my purposes. I prefer medium roast central and south american coffees, so I cannot speak to how a dark sumatran might, over time, clog the filter or demand more intensive cleaning.

The filter works pretty much as advertised, grounds go in, coffee comes out. The taste of the coffee is great. The filters are reusable and can be boiled to bring them back to almost new. The most annoying part is dealing with grounds post-brew, it's a slight hassle to empty and clean the filter. But nice to know I always have a filter on hand.
