For many years the export of coffee from Ethiopia was handled through the national coffee exchange, with smaller producers unable to market their coffee directly. With a change in law this has now become possible, however few have access to the capital to create these relationships.

By working with the export partner to secure certain lots a group of farmers from the Sidama region, lead by Buriso Addis. are now able to make showcasing their coffee a reality. Carefully tending to Heirloom varieties on their smallholdings under the shade of native forests, with the natural process offering a deep, rounded acidity and sweetness to the cup..
