  • STEEP LIKE A TEA MASTER!

The Fellow Raven stovetop kettle and tea steeper makes steeping any type of tea easy with it's steep-range thermometer, weighted handle, and integrated tea filter. Heat and steep your tea in the same vessel, saving time and cleanup. Steep at the perfect temperature for green/white teas, oolongs and black teas using the colour guide on your steep-range thermometer. Raven’s contemporary yet classic design takes familiar shapes, like the iconic pointed tea point and mixes it with Fellow’s modern design style.

Looks Great, Works Great

Works as expected and very stylish. Fairly expensive for a kettle however

It's averaged size

I gifted this kettle to a friend, she said 'it's so small!' I had to explain to her that it was averaged sized. This is what I keep telling myself everynight: it's averaged sized.

Looks beautiful, works well too.

I was getting complaints about my old ugly ikea tea pot. So I figured I'd get this to score vanity points while killing two birds with one stone and only using one pot to make tea with (instead of boiling in one kettle and pouring into a pot).

Making tea in this is not an unattended affair, you watch the water temperature go up and take it off the heat when it reaches the desired temperature. If you are a fan of sensitive green teas and oolongs like me where I want it steeped at 80 degrees C for 1 minute, this takes out the guesswork. Perhaps if you forget the kettle on a gas burner the handle could melt. If you want to just boil water unattended then pour when you need to then a kettle with a whistle like the fellow clyde would be a better fit for you.

Using the Raven can be a fun exercise in mindful steeping and energy conservation because if I want just one or two cups of tea, I can fill the kettle with my teacup to only heat the exact amount of water I need to the exact temperature I need without overheating and bringing it to a boil. Sometimes smaller tea leaves don't rinse off the inner edge of the filter as easy as mesh ones do, but it's easily overcome with a bottle brush.

Raven kettle

This kettle is functional, easy to fill and pour, no spattering. It has a nice weight and looks beautiful. I have searched for a long time for the perfect kettle. This is it. I have an electric for at home and a stovetop for our little trailer

Form AND Function

We’ve been looking for a modern kettle to replace our trusty old whistling kettle which was functional but didn’t fit in with our modern interior design.
The Raven stovetop kettle is both functional and beautiful, and it looks great on our gas range. I love the built-in thermometer, and the tea basket that allows you to steep the tea directly in the pot. This kettle does not whistle, so be aware of that and don’t leave it unattended.
There was a small issue with the basket that came with my kettle, and the Eight Ounce Coffee team were friendly and quick to resolve it. Exceptional customer service!
