  • FLOW-CONTROL FOR SIMPLIFIED BREWING!

The NEO is a manual espresso maker from Flair, built for beginners and those seeking convenient, affordable espresso in their homes. The NEO uses no electricity and no pods so you can feel good about yourself and your environment.

The secret to the NEO is its custom Flow-Control Portafilter (ver. 2), which features a removable spout for cleaning and de-clogging and simplifies the brewing process by controlling the flow of your brew water through your coffee grounds to ensure proper espresso extraction. This means that you can use any whole beans you want and grind them with any grinder you have - from high end burr grinders to less expensive blade grinders. The result will be the same. Beautiful, delicious shots of espresso topped with a thick layer of crema.

Great entry level espresso maker

The workflow was a little confusing at first but once I get used to it, it becomes a pleasure to use and to enjoy your time. Now I use it every day and have to say that it can give you better shots of espresso using a bottomless portafilter and a pressure gauge. Highly recommend it to anyone who is new to the espresso community

Excellent Entry Level machine

Once you get used to the workflow, this little machine turns out some awesome espresso. If you can use your kettles steam to preheat your chamber, it is a game changer. I suspended mine inside the kettle on a broke chop stick. I ended up upgrading to another flair and sold this on to another curious espresso fan. He has since upgraded as well.

Better than Great

I live in Victoria B.C and there are a lot of coffee shops, but they all sell "lemon" aid, not sweet espresso
I just could not buy one more cup of .... well, it's not espresso in any form
I ordered the Fellow Ode from Eight Ounce and received it in two days so I went back to them and ordered the Flair Neo and yes, I got it in two days, thanks guys, much appreciated.
When I received it; It was well-packaged and marked "FRAGILE". The product was packaged in the box better than expected, so the unboxing was a pleasant experience, so, we are off to a good start.
Because I have seen several Youtube reviews I felt I was good to go and therefore did not read the instructions.
I know what you are thinking, but, just read on!
I gave it a quick rinse and run some plain water through it .. it worked, I was surprised, I expected, well I don't know what I expected.
Next, I loaded it with old store-bought coffee packed it tight and ran boiling water through it, again it worked, yes, I was surprised - again.
I gave it a quick rinse and said to myself:
Ok, let's make some drinkable espresso, so, I set my kettle to boil, I put a pan full of water to boil so I could keep the press chamber piping hot, I ground some good coffee, packed it in the coffee chamber, set it in place, poured hot water in my cup, took the pressure chamber out of the boiling water and placed it on top of the coffee chamber, placed the plunger, and poured out the hot water from my cup and set it in place, then I plunged several seconds later I had nice crema rich dark espresso, but how did it taste ...
It was, by far, the best espresso I have had in Victoria b.C.
Thank you Flair Neo and thank you Eight Ounce Coffee
