Despite the 4-star review, I absolutely love this product and have purchased multiple based on how much I love using them for my teas! The beaker provides enough area for tea leaves to expand when steeping, and the volume markings on the glass is very handy for quickly measuring the perfect amount of water needed for your tea. The silicone lid pours tea over nicely with the attached strainer, preventing any leaves from pouring out. The silicone lid also comes equipped with a metal cap that keeps your hot tea sealed while steeping, but opens up while decanting to allow your tea to pour out.
I love using this product to make a hot tea in the morning, but then re-steep the leaves in the fridge for a refreshing iced tea in the afternoon. I use this product daily, but have removed 1 star as a caution for others: this tea pitcher is designed like a beaker and therefore acts like one. The glass becomes hot to handle when filled with hot liquid, and so decanting tongs exist for this reason. If using this product for hot tea, simply use a tea towel or some other form of insulation to handle the glass when pouring as it does get too hot to touch, but not too hot that the glass cannot sit on a surface without damaging it.
