Porcelain ceramic with an earthenware aesthetic, this 180ml cup will inspire you to get cozy and savour your coffee. CERAMIC LAB balances delicacy, durability and the rustic charm of sandstone to form modern interpretation of traditional Japanese tableware. The CERAMIC LAB CLK-151 line uses a special local sandstone from where it's made, Hasami, a village with a long tradition of pottery craftsmanship. Hasami is in the Nagasaki Prefecture, on the west coast of Japan's Kyushu Island. This cup is perfect for a morning cappuccino or an evening green tea.

Do not overheat in the microwave or heat without water. Wash with care. Do not use abrasive cleansers or steel wool. Product size and shape varies in each item due to manufacturing process. Appearance of color glaze unevenness varies in each item. Some products may take on scorched-like texture on the surface. It is an unique glaze effect called "yo-hen", unintended color transformation show on the ceramic and porcelain after firing.

Beautiful quality, but colour not as expected

This is a beautiful cup, and the quality feels exceptional. I also love that it can be purchased as a 4-pack. However, the colour is not as expected. I ordered beige, but it is less beige and more like a grey-green. The beige colour is not at all like the picture. There is a disclaimer sticker on the cup that says there can be variations in size, weight, and colour, but this variation is quite significant. I may exchange for the white, but I was really hoping for a warm beige, like the colour of sand. Unfortunately this is not it. The cups are still very beautiful though!
