This is a well made chasen. It looks delicate and elegant but is sturdy. Dampen it before every use to prevent damaging the strings.

A Must Have

This did not disappoint. Would recommend to any matcha tea drinker. A great quality product that was well worth the price!

When you want the best

Anyone who is in to tea (particularly matcha) knows that a cheap Chasen will leave you sad. There are many cheaply made-in-China matcha whisks these days that crack and split. It's hard to find (In Canada anyway) an awesome quality chasen that is made in Japan by artisan matcha whisk makers, who let the bamboo dry for months, and hand craft the whisk like this one. You won't regret it.
