  • USE THE FORCE!

Winner of the Red Dot Award for outstanding Product Design, The Force Tamper is a stainless steel tamper with automatic levelling and configurable contact pressure. The levelling plate is self-aligning, meaning you can spend less time on your form and focus more on your shot. With impact-generated pressure, baristas can repeat the same tamping results with less effort and zero Jedi training.

      • Make sure the base is tightly screwed
    • Always clean the tamper with a brush
      • Don't wash the tamper with water even though the tamper is made of stainless steel. The water in gaps will not dry out easily and that may make the fines stick

THE FORCE Tamper

I purchased this as a replacement for my Normcore tamper which started making grinding noises after under 2 years of use and I found metal shards coming out of the mechanism. So far, the Force Tamper has been very consistent and a perfect fit for my VST baskets. The key to ensuring a level tamp with the Force tamper is to make sure the tamper is well seated on top of the basket before tamping. I use two fingers to stabilize the tamper before actuating with the other hand.
