Introducing the VERO cortado glass. Designed to be the ideal vessel for a cortado, it's not bad if you like your favourite whiskey neat, either.
Usually served in a traditional rocks glass, a cortado is slightly larger in volume than a macchiato, and smaller than a cappuccino. This beautiful take on the cortado glass has exaggerated facets for a more modern appearance, as well as technical improvements for specialty coffee. notNeutral addressed the challenge of pouring latte art in a traditional rocks glass by modelling the interior curve of the cup after their LINO cappuccino cup.

Everything about this cortado glass is right: size, weight, profile, finish, shape. I was a little hesitant at first to spend 23$ for a single 4,25oz glass, but I am glad I did! I bought two of these and couldn't be happier. I find I use them as much as my demi tasse cups for espresso. They can be used also for small drinks on the rocks. Latte art is easy to pour, due to the nice curve inside of the glass. You won't regret this purchase I am sure of it!
First impression: this glass has some WEIGHT to it! Confirming Oliver's measurements, it weighs a solid 12 oz/350 g and therefore feels very substantial in the hand, without feeling like a burden to pick up. Volume is spot-on and looks gorgeous. Definitely a solid addition to my machine's cup rack!
Nobody seems to have these in Vancouver, I took a chance not seeing them first, very happy with the glasses. HEFTY...4.25oz are 350g each. Really nice feeling in the hand. Better balanced feeling for me than the 6.oz version. Perfect for a morning cortado and also for an evening scotch! Highly recommended.
