  • House Decaf Espresso

A photograph of the real zeal; all the flavour without the coursing electricity or crazed kitty eyes.

This exciting sugarcane processed decaf coffee from Colombia is sweet with caramel and brown sugar notes. Mouthful body and clean. It lacks a bit of acidity, but overall it is a great coffee.

Very good for espresso drinks!

I got it on sale as it was roasted for nearly two months. Didn't give too much expectation to it. It turned out to be very easy to dial in, at a higher temp and higher pressure, the shot (standard 1:2 ratio) came out very creamy and balanced. It was even better than the freshly roasted Pilot Coffee decaf beans that I bought at similar time. One of the best decaf I have tried so far...

One dimension

We found this coffee to be a bit on the one dimensional side. We weren’t really tasting the flavour profile on this one. Overall not as exciting as we had hoped.
