  • Heart Eyes. Says it all, doesn't it? We all deserve to feel crazy about ourselves, or someone. Now, while you shouldn't need Valentine's Day to give or feel a little love, it sure is a great excuse. That's why we went all out with this limited edition filter blend. A 50/50 mix of bright and juicy washed Aricha #2 with the exotic profile of Elkin Guzman's Natural Lactic Tabi. The result is a coffee that tastes like a box of rich chocolate caramels with a side of luxurious chocolate covered strawberries and cherries. Sweet, decadent and so fun, this coffee gives us all the date night feels.

To show a little love, each purchase of Heart Eyes comes with a Valentine's Day Card. Because we love you more than we love coffee...

So whether you're passionately in love or just have a great relationship with your coffee mug, try a little Heart Eyes - you'll love it.

Pretty good, but not a daily drinker

I ordered this to try something different and I was interested in the natural lactic tabi flavour.

I brewed with a column dripper, and a 6-cup chemex and overall I found it okay. It seems like the lactic tabi adds a bit of a milky, milk chocolate taste, that was fairly pleasant and quite different. The juicy notes also added some interesting brightness to a fairly bitter finishing coffee. I found it has a really full body, and tends to the heavier side so I had to make some brewing adjustments.

3.5 stars is where I'd put it, and considering the price, I would recommend going for something more in line with the usual specialty coffee product if you are looking for a different experience on a daily drinker.
